Last year, Rose exited Qumu ($30M ARR) as its President and Chief Executive Officer to a strategic buyer, which allowed the retention of 90%+ of personnel across the business. During her tenure as CEO, The Software Report named her one of the Top 50 SaaS CEOs and Top 50 Women Leaders of 2022. Rose also won the CEO of the Year Award from Aragon Research that year for her unwavering commitment to innovation and client obsession.
Prior to Qumu, Rose was Chief of Staff and led Americas Partners for Teradata. While at Teradata, she was featured on the cover of CIOLook for her commitment to women in technology. Prior to that, Rose was recognized by Insights Success Magazine as one of the Top 10 Most Inspiring Young Women in Business.
With a reputation as a role model, tough yet fair leader, and direct communicator that others want to follow, Rose possesses a consultative, consensus-building leadership style. This, in turn, has helped her promote a culture of harmony, engagement, and accountability that leads to innovation, productivity, and accelerated growth/expansion.
Originally from Montana, Rose spent 15 years in the Bay Area and now resides in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband Brian and their two fur babies, Dusty and Cookie. She will soon receive her private pilot’s license, is a small business owner, the President of a local animal rescue, and is always looking for opportunities to champion diversity and inclusion.
